WORLD CLASS PRODUCTS
WITH BUILT IN QUALITY
F. Ball is a leading manufacturer of flooring adhesives and floor preparation
products. Each product is designed to deliver best-in-class performance for the
flooring contractor, while delivering 100% compatibility with both the subfloor
and the floorcovering being installed. Even better, F. Ball guarantees the ongoing
performance of its products for the entire lifetime of the installation.
Product development
Product development at F. Ball is propelled by two
key drivers: the day-to-day needs of professional
flooring contractors and the characteristics of
new floorcoverings launched onto the market.
We proactively seek feedback from flooring
contractors to understand how to make life easier
for them and we work closely with the leading UK
and international floorcovering manufacturers to
optimise the performance of our products.
Recommended Adhesives Guide
(RAG®)
The close relationships we have forged with
those manufacturers ensures that F. Ball’s iconic
Recommended Adhesives Guide (RAG ®) continues
to retain its position as the most trusted guide
to flooring adhesive compatibility. Containing
adhesive recommendations for over 6,000 brand
name floorcoverings from leading manufacturers,
each recommendation has been tested and verified
in F. Ball’s advanced research and development
laboratories and approved and endorsed by each
individual manufacturer.

Tried and tested and tested
and tested…
Indeed, ‘testing’ is the watchword that underpins
our product development ethos. From application,
durability and accelerated ageing tests in the
laboratory to full scale field trials, new products
created at F. Ball are tested to the limit – and
beyond. So, you can be sure that when you choose
an F. Ball product, you know it will work.
Technical support
F. Ball’s technical team, comprising head office-based
specialists and site-visiting technical representatives,
provide back-up support that is second to none.
If you need a full specification for preparing a
problem subfloor through to the installation of the
floorcovering, or just straightforward advice on
the best moisture management system or smoothing
compound to use for a job, the technical service
team is available at the end of the phone or by text,
email or via social media. For jobs that need closer
inspection, you can request a site visit or video
call with a technical representative. It’s all part of
the service.
