STEEL FLOORS
Typical areas for steel floors are lifts and ship decks. In any instance
the steel (whether mild, galvanized, stainless etc) must be free from
corrosion, bright and shiny and suitably fixed to a supportive base. In
circumstances where the project is classed as marine (i.e. offshore)
an epoxy primer (deck-plate primer) such as Stopgap F77 may then
be necessary to prevent future corrosion/rusting.
HOW TO TREAT STEEL DECKS/METAL
