ADHESIVE SELECTION
The drive to help flooring contractors work to ever
higher standards, with greater speed and efficiency, as
well as increase the longevity of flooring installations,
has led to the development of high performance
adhesives with a range of specialist properties.
These include adhesives for specific floorcovering
types, including Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVTs), wood and
carpet, with performance characteristics needed in
certain environments, such as areas subject to extreme
temperature fluctuations, moisture or external
weather conditions. They also offer features to help
contractors in particular situations, such as fast-track
properties, high initial grab and high bond strength.
In addition, F. Ball's range of IMO certified adhesives
help to optimise the appearance and longevity of
installations in marine and offshore settings and are
tested in accordance with International Maritime
Organization (IMO) standards.
So, when it comes to selecting an adhesive for
a specific installation, as well as checking the
compatibility of chosen floorcoverings and adhesives,
it is always advisable to consider products that have
been developed for particular applications and types
of floorcoverings.
